Celebrate our 25th year by joining our 25-for-25 fundraiser

We are celebrating a quarter of a century with a special year-long fundraiser. ’25 for 25’ invites you to get involved, and raise money to help us continue to deliver vital support services – and reach more families, far earlier.

Daybreak was founded 1999 to help embed the Māori practice of Family Group Conferences in Hampshire. Since then, we have worked alongside thousands of families and young people helping them to resolve challenges in their lives. Many of the families that are supported face a range of challenges, including mental health, substance misuse, relationship breakdowns, and other welfare concerns.

Our first fundraiser of this kind, 25-for-25 invites you to do 25 of something – whatever inspires you – to mark 25 years of working people as they find solutions to their challenges. This can be a single event such as running 25 miles or an ongoing activity like swimming 25 lengths a week for 25 weeks. Everyone is welcome to take part in whichever way they wish.

The Daybreak team will also be getting involved taking part in a team challenge, as well as individual challenges throughout the year. Watch this space!

We will be sharing ways to get involved, and celebrating successes across our social media throughout the next year. Supporters can follow along using #TeamDaybreak and #25YearsOfDaybreak.

Our CEO, Debbie Burns celebrates: “This is our first major fundraising campaign of this kind and we are excited to get started! We are looking forward to seeing what challenges people embark on, and cheering them on. As a charity, demand for support continues to increase whilst sourcing funding becomes more difficult. We are so grateful the support.”

If you’d like to get involved, you can register online. In return, you will receive a digital fundraising pack to support your efforts and the cheer-squad of #TeamDaybreak. Head to www.daybreakfgc.org.uk/fundraise to register. To set up a fundraising page join our 25-for-25 campaign on JustGiving.

This is part of a wider set of celebrations for our 25th year, including special events and opportunities to learn more about the charity and its history. Supporters new and old can follow all the activity on our dedicated webpage www.daybreakfgc.org.uk/25years or by following us on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.
