Launching in Spring 2025, the initiative will help families facing challenges such as mental health struggles, substance use, relationship breakdowns, or life transitions. Families can self-refer or be referred through partner organisations, ensuring accessible support when it's needed most.

Daybreak’s expert team will help families build strong support networks and create practical plans to prevent issues from escalating. The voluntary process will focus on listening to everyone involved -including children -to shape meaningful solutions.

Our CEO, Debbie Burns, said:
"This funding is an incredible opportunity to extend our work in Portsmouth. Families are facing increasing pressures, and early support is key to preventing crises. Thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund and The Rayne Foundation, we can help families build the networks they need to move forward with confidence."

Based at St Luke’s Church, the project will be open to families with children under 11, based in Portsmouth.
