Family Group Conference Coordinator - Trained, Self-Employed

Are you a trained Family Group Conference Coordinator?

Are you eager to use your skills to support families by working with them to give every member a voice in decision-making?

Do you want a flexible role that values your commitment where you can see the impact you create?

Daybreak, a registered charity, is welcoming new Independent Coordinators to join our team.

We work with a team of self-employed Coordinators across the South of England and are actively looking for trained and experienced Coordinators to help us deliver our objective of increasing the use of Family Group Conferences (FGCs) and empowering more families to tackle the challenges facing them.

We are welcoming compassionate and committed Coordinators to put their skills to use in enabling families to demonstrate how they can keep each other safe. We want to expand the use of Family Group Conferences to a wide range of environments and referral agents, beyond the primary focus of children’s social services – so now is a great time to add your skills and experience to our growing team.

Our Coordinators are experienced in working alongside families facing a diverse range of challenges, including mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence. This means that, no matter what your background, we are sure we can find a way for you to use your skills and training to empower families to find a way forward.

Our services are currently based in Portsmouth, Reading, Bromley, Hackney, and Wiltshire and we are therefore prioritising applications in these areas. However, we are keen to hear from Coordinators across the whole South of England, to help us broaden our reach and ensure we can aid as many families and communities as possible.

We have families in need of your support; please contact us today.
