Improving Impact in Family Group Conference Webinar Series

To support all those providing Family Group Conferences across the UK, we have put together an Improving Impact in Family Group Conferences webinar series. Launching early in 2024, we invite people to come along, listen, and discuss ways that we can elevate that experience and ensure every child, and their family/support network, gets the best opportunity from a their Family Group Conference.

At Daybreak, we have been facilitating Family Group Conferences for over 20 years. We know that for children and their families they can be challenging and empowering in equal measure. Which is why, as practitioners, every family must get the best support, and preparation - every time. The quality of a Family Group Conference can, of course, have a direct impact on the decisions being made for a child's care.

The series is in three parts.

  • Best practice in making a referral - the referral serves as a powerful tool to ensure quality straight from the start. What can we do to protect this first step?

  • Recipe for success in plans - exploring how we can make sure plans are robust, safe and sustainable, from the preparation phases right until agreeing and monitoring a plan

  • Enabling impactful participation - the outcomes can be linked to how well all attendees, be that children, young people, family members, and professionals, are engaged in the process. What can we all do to support and enhance their experience?

You can attend just one session, or all of them. Each session is £20 pp, with discounts for multiple or group bookings. If you are keen to start 2024 by enhancing your Family Group Conference practice and improving the impact of your or your team's work, then book today

We offer a number of training opportunities including Family Group Conference Coordinator training in-person, and virtually. Explore our training page today and if you have a bespoke need, get in touch – we can help!
